The Personal Information Act sets the formal framework for what personal data Loxy AS can store and how we can manage it. This also applies to our services on the Internet. In addition, legislation such as the Marketing Act and the Accounting Act also provides guidelines on how information that can be linked to a person should be processed.
In accordance with the Personal Data Act, Loxy AS must inform how we use the personal data we receive. In accordance with Chapter II, section 8 of the Act, which deals with conditions for processing personal data, the information is used to:
- fulfill agreement with the supporter
- fulfill the legal obligations of the organization
- maintain a register of our supporters to fulfill our purpose
Loxy AS does not have sensitive information in its register. Loxy AS meets the current rules for updating reservations against the reservation register in Brønnøysund. If you have reserved this register, we will not contact you, unless you have previously supported us and we consider this an active customer relationship.

The person responsible for processing in accordance with the Personal Data Act is Loxy AS.
Purpose of processing
Personal information is used by Loxy AS to manage customer relationships, for invoicing, orders, order handling, and in other contexts where Loxy AS must know who we are in contact with.
Information processed
Loxy AS collects and stores personal data through our online services, only to the extent that you have been notified and approved. We use names and emails when sending our newsletters. This personal information (name, address, email address, etc.) users entered on Loxy AS’s services, or associated services from subcontractors, will be stored in our or our subcontractors’ databases. This is to ensure that we can deliver the service our users expect.
Disclosure of information

When you access our website, a secure (SSL encrypted) session is automatically started. You can check this (the pages are encrypted: look for https) by clicking the padlock icon that appears in your browser.
Statistics
Loxy AS uses the Google Analytics statistics tools to calculate user numbers and traffic on our sites so that we can develop and improve them by understanding how they are used. IP addresses are anonymized before being transmitted to Google Analytics so that they cannot associate information with individual users. Google Analytics uses both cookies to collect traffic information in an anonymized form. The information says something about how visitors use the site, for example:
- number of page views
- number of visits
- how visitors came to the site
- browser information
The traffic information is stored with Google Inc. IP addresses are stored in anonymized form and therefore cannot be traced back to you as a user.
We’ve enabled the «Demographics and Interest Reports» feature in Google Analytics. You can opt out by changing your Google Ads settings. Here you can also update the information about yourself.
